CatEye Mity 8 manual

People have been riding bicycles for many years, even centuries. Even though we use the bicycle as a means of transport, we should also have in mind that many people use their bicycles as recreational tools and they want to know how much have they traveled during each ride. And this is what encouraged Curtis Hussey Veeder more than hundred years ago when he came up with the idea and eventually developed the Cyclometer. This device just calculated the exact number of revolutions of the wheel of a bicycle. But, the number of revolutions of the wheel doesn’t tell us much about the exact speed. This is why the device has to be connected to an analog odometer via a cable. This would convert the number of rotations into kilometers and thus calculate the traveled distance. By calculating the time needed to travel the appropriate distance the bicyclist would be able to calculate the average speed. But, the process seems fairly complicated, and that’s why modern cyclometers are called cyclocomputers and they are able to calculate various functions. One of the most popular cyclocomputers is the Cat Eye Mity 8 and you can read the user manual online and find out more about its functions. DOWNLOAD THE CATEYE MITY 8 MANUAL HERE
